Presentation of the room
The Zénith de Paris is located in the Parc de la Villette, to the north-east of Paris (19th). Like the other rooms in the Zénith network in France, it was designed specifically for amplified music and live performances. Its capacity, of the order of several thousand spectators, places it between club rooms and very large indoor venues: large enough to accommodate headliners, but on a scale which maintains good proximity to the stage.
It is a covered and modular room, whose configuration adapts to the show: the distribution between standing and seated can therefore vary from one concert to another.
Configurations in concert mode
For a concert, the Zénith generally offers a pit or a floor facing the stage, supplemented by stands on the sides and at the back. Depending on the show, the floor area can be standing (pit) or arranged as seating; the stands offer numbered seats. The modularity of the room makes it possible to open or not certain zones and to adjust the gauge to production.
The configuration varies depending on the concert, the official plan published for the show remains the reference to know if the pit is standing, if the audience is seated and which categories are open.
Placement marks (depending on configuration)
| Area | What to expect | Good to know |
|---|---|---|
| Standing pit | Close to the stage, dynamic atmosphere | No guaranteed seating; open according to the concert |
| Seated floor | Numbered floor seats facing the stage | Offered on certain shows in place of the pit |
| Front bleachers | Numbered seats with overview | Good compromise view/comfort depending on the block |
| Side stands | Side seats, more oblique view | Prices sometimes more accessible; check the angle on the plane |
General references: the gauge and the open areas depend on the concert in this modular room. Check the official show plan.
Prepare your arrival well
- Check the format: standing pit or seated pit changes the experience; consult the concert plan.
- Think about the angle: the side stands offer a more oblique view than the front stands.
- Reasonable proximity: the intermediate gauge of the Zénith limits the distance to the stage compared to a large arena.
- Access : Parc de la Villette (19th) is served by the metro; anticipate the exit at the end of the concert.
- Ticket type : make sure it is valid and transferable if necessary before purchasing.
